These are general supply lists for each grade level. Teachers may request additional supplies necessary for class.
EVERY student needs:
- Combination Lock (no key locks)
- No Wheeled Back Packs
- An Official Marshall Student Agenda will be given to each student.
5th Grade
- Notebook paper—Wide Ruled
- Pencils—at least 2 dozen #2 and sharpener that holds shavings
- Crayons or Colored Pencils
- 4 Spiral Notebooks—wide ruled
- Two-Pocket Folders
- 12 inch ruler
- Pencil Pouch—large enough to hold pencils, scissors, glue, and sharpener
- Scissors
- School Glue
- Additional Supplies for home rooms:
- 1 box of Kleenex
- 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
- 1 roll of paper towels
6th Grade
- Lined notebook paper—Loose Leaf—Wide Ruled
- 3 individual composition books
- 3 spiral note books (at least 150 pages) - solid color, please
- Individual pencil sharpener that holds shavings
- 1 package of colored pencils or crayons
- 2-3 dry erase markers
- 1 pair of scissors
- 2 roll of paper towel
- 2 boxes of Kleenex
- Baby wipes/Clorox wipes
- Number 2 pencils
- 12 inch ruler
- 1 pencil pouch – large enough to hold pencils, scissors, glue and sharpener
- 1 box of crayons for classroom use
Additional Supplies for home rooms:
- 1 box of Kleenex
- 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
- 1 roll of paper towels
7th Grade
- One pack of No. 2 Pencils
- One hand-held pencil sharpener with shavings catch
- 2 packs of lose leaf notebook paper (wide or college rule)
- One spiral bound notebook of paper (wide or college rule
- One pack of construction paper (for homeroom teacher)
- Red, Blue, and Black ink pen
- 5 Pocket Folders (Multiple Colors)
- One 2 in. 3-ring Binder
- Scissors (Rounded Tip)
- Glue (Stick or Liquid)
- Ruler (With metric and standard units)
- One Pack of colored pencils
- Black or Blue Sharpie marker
Additional Supplies for home rooms:
- 1 box of Kleenex
- 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
- 1 roll of paper towels
8th Grade
- Pencils—#2 (at least 2 dozen) and colored pencils
- Pens—Blue or Black
- Paper—Standard Notebook Paper, wide or college ruled
- Graph Paper—for math
- Calculator—Standard 4-funtion (however, scientific is preferred for science)
- Binder—1 three-ring one inch binder for science. Another binder with separators to organize papers from different classes.
- 1 Spiral Notebook— 70-page for history
- At least one folder with pockets.
Additional Supplies for home rooms:
- 1 box of Kleenex
- 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
- 1 roll of paper towels
